The Lodge At Pico Bonito

The rain-forest has been a controversial subject for quite some time now, but one thing’s for sure: everyone should experience it first-hand at least once in their lifetime. So, if you desire to do so and if you want to enjoy brightly-colored tropical birds, screeching monkeys, and awe-inspiring waterfalls, The Lodge at Pico Bonito is just the perfect place for you.

Somewhere amidst the jungle of Honduras, The Lodge at Pico Bonito will impress guests with its mesmerizing colors, a place where you can see glossy deep green leaves, a clear blue sky, an aquamarine pool and various butterflies, flowers and tropical birds. Sounds heavenly, right?

The Lodge At Pico Bonito

The Lodge at Pico Bonito provides visitors 400 verdant acres for nature-watching and exciting adventure sports. Activities include climbing canopy towers for a real bird’s eye view of the jungle, giving you a chance to observe toucans, cotingas, and hummingbirds, and you may also visit the butterfly farm, specialized in the gorgeous blue morpho.

There’s also a manatee refuge, where 50 remaining West Indian Manatees are enjoying every warm day in complete safety. If you’re up for some more energetic ways of spending the day, feel free to opt out for some whitewater rafting, snorkeling, horseback riding, and visiting Mayan ruins.

Come nightfall, you will be resting in your 400 sq. ft. cabin, enjoying your hammock and the incredible sounds of the jungle.
