Tesla Motors has been around us since 2003, slowly taking over the automotive industry with their beautiful and highly efficient electric cars. The company’s first project, the red hot Tesla Roadster, was the first production car to use lithium ion battery cells, kicking off a new era in car making and selling in 2,250 units over the years.

Then they’ve introduced the stunning Model S, which proved to be a massive hit ever since it was launched, and this year they’ll also start producing the Model X. Tesla will surely surprise us with a lot of innovative models in the future, but what if they’ll also build a motorcycle?

Jans Shlapins, a talented digital designer from London, asked himself exactly that, and that’s how he came up with this gorgeous Tesla motorcycle concept, dubbed “Model M”. Inspired by the brand’s history, the Model M would be powered by a 201 horsepower electric motor with lithium ion batteries, of course.

Just like the Model S, this stunning motorcycle concept won’t have any transmission, and will be built around an aluminum frame, as low as possible for extreme handling in tight corners. The Tesla bike would also feature a special compartment for electronics and helmet, right where the gas tank is located at a normal bike, and it will also get carbon fiber wheels and panelling.

It’s a sleek concept that would surely look amazing on the streets and if Elon Musk ever decides to move to motorcycles, he should totally make one inspired from Jans Shlapins’ design.
