During the European Business Aviation Convention and Exposition held last May in Geneva, French aircraft manufacturer Dassault unveiled its new flagship: the large-cabin, ultra-long range Falcon 8X.

With a length of over 42 feet, the new aircraft has the longest cabin of any Falcon jet ever developed and has a range exceeding 7,400 miles. The interior is as spacious as you’d expect for an airplane of this scale, while 32 large windows allow plenty of natural light in and also allow for some really great panoramic views. There are more than 30 interior configurations available to choose from, with different galley and lounge locations and various ways to arrange the seating areas, lavatory, and shower.

The cockpit is an upgraded version of that of its predecessor, the 7X, featuring state of the art avionics, as well as a head-up display which helps minimize player fatigue. Upgraded engines and aerodynamics, including the addition of winglets, ensure a 35% improvement in fuel efficiency, when compared with competing aircraft.

While the Falcon 8X is still in development and deliveries are only expected to begin in 2016, Dassault is already taking orders for the new jet, which is priced at $58 million.
