When someone like Sheikha Latifa, daughter of Sheikh Mohammed, ruler of Dubai, gets married, you can be certain the event will be something out of this world. The vast resources employed in the organization of the wedding are fully apparent in the scale and beauty of the cloud installation named Lucid Dream, designed by Sheikha Latifa herself together with Design Lab Events.

The setup is the stuff of dreams: made using no fewer than 15,000 light sticks, 65,000 Swarovski crystals, and 4,000 paper cranes, it is truly a sight as unforgettable as the special event it helps celebrate. The Swarovski crystals and light sticks create blend to create a glowing, glittering cloud, while the paper cranes gently swing above the guests` heads, creating a fairy tale ambiance worthy of a princesses` wedding.

Adding another dimension of grandeur to the occasion is the purple lighting, a color often associated with royalty. In fact, everything about the Lucid Dream is imposing and mesmerizing – a fitting ornament for such a momentous day.
