MINI aims the change the way we travel around town with the innovative Citysurfer concept.

This vehicle is basically a kick scooter with an electric engine which provides additional power without becoming cumbersome. In fact, Citysurfer can be easily folded in half and weighs just 18 kilograms, which means you can basically take it with you almost anywhere and use it when you need a boost.

The controls are straightforward and easy to use, with a thumb-operated accelerator and gearless hub motor in the rear wheel helping the rider reach a top speed of 15 mph (25 km/h). And by the way, “helping” really is the right word to use here, because the electric engine doesn’t activate until the rider reaches a minimum speed on his/her own. Power comes from a lithium-ion battery permanently installed in the frame, which can be charged by a 12-volt automobile socket or even a household socket.

Not only is the MINI Citysurfer helpful when you want to get around, it also ensures the ride is as comfortable as possible thanks to its sizeable wheels with pneumatic tires, stable frame, and height-adjustable handlebars. It also has a mobile phone holder and charger on the handle bars, so you can stay connected at all times and navigate easily through town.
