As we’ve shown you time and time again, Brikk is very good at making high-end devices even better by covering them in gold. We’ve also seen that the device of choice is usually an iPhone, but now the American luxury accessory maker has gone for a bit of a change, working on a 24-carat gold version of a Nikon DSLR camera.

Announced earlier this month by the company, the Brikk Lux Nikon DF and Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 lens covered in pure 24-carat yellow gold add a touch of glamour to your photo sessions. If the Midas touch that seemingly created the piece could somehow be applied to the photographer’s craft, his or her creations would all be world-class masterpieces.

Expected to go on sale in November, the setup comes with a premium custom case is rumored to cost around $30,000.
