Bottega Veneta has impressed during this year’s Salone del Mobile fair held in Milan. The Italian luxury company has unveiled an expanded Home Collection featuring new and innovative colors, textures and materials, with the brand’s customary high-end artisanship and functional design.

Notable pieces include a line of new silver flatware, now available in a brunito color finish, with rhodium and ruthenium (elements from the platinum family) combining to create a dark, antiqued effect over the sterling silver intrecciato-engraved base. There are also three new tables which were added to the “floating” pieces series – bronze-framed tables and desks, combined with lacquered, intrecciato parchment leather which appear to be hovering below clear-glass surfaces.

In addition to these, Bottega Veneta has also presented its extensive lighting options. This includes a couple of ceilings lamps with shades and a wall fixture made from metal and leather. Other items include an exquisite table lamp crafted from transparent handmade Murano glass, with a coaxial leather-covered wire, as well as Bottega Veneta’s first rechargeable light piece – a cordless lamp that only needs to be charged periodically.
