Bloemsma Van Breemen is a Dutch luxury shipyard which we’ve been tracking of recently. The specialist yacht makers are currently working on the so-called Project BVB44M superyacht, a vessel said to encompass the latest in terms of equipment, courtesy of the best Dutch manufacturers of such products.

The yacht is built based on the naval architecture provided by Vripack and the design expertise of Pieter Beelsnijder. Measuring 44 meters LOA, this yacht will definitely turn many heads. The spaces within the BVB44M are as clear as possible, thanks to a clever design system and the latest in terms of technology. It is currently built for some Dutch owners although it hasn’t yet been named appropriately.

In fact, the extremely efficient space usage is quite fantastic, the main positive aspect of the BVB44M. For example, you’ll be seeing much space distribution-related efficiency on the sundeck, at the sunbathing and relaxation area, and inside the larger engine room on the lower deck. The upper deck, which hosts the owner area, works in the same way. Accommodation-wise, there are the owner’s quarters with private lounge space, a grand state room and the terrace, equally intimate as the afore.

Carrying the theme on, the excess fixtures have been carefully and beautifully hidden throughout the yacht – the safety controls and the back-up features for example are found beneath the guest suites on the lower deck. The same lower deck also houses the quarters of the 4 staff members and the lavish captain’s cabin. This way, the engine room is actually turned into a wide and clean space, fit for everyone’s enjoyment. De Ruiter Quality Interiors have done a great job as well, garnishing this cruiser with pear wood lining throughout.

Performance-wise, Project BVB44M is powered by an engine that ensures maximum speeds of 15 knots, while the cruising speeds are set at around 14 knots. Furthermore, the yacht is able to travel up to 4,100 nautical miles on a single reservoir full – perfect for a tranquil cruise throughout the Mediterranean.
