Rolls-Royce has decided to join the Geneva crowd and did not come empty handed, impressing everyone with a new Black Badge edition of the Rolls-Royce Ghost & Wraith. Looking extremely appealing, both cars now benefit from blacked out exteriors, with a stunning black gloss Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, along with several black exterior trim pieces, including the badges.

Furthermore, some of the chromed surfaces on the cars have received a darker finish now, for a more discreet and elegant appearance. The composite carbon fiber alloys are a new addition, and come with aluminum hubs. Rolls-Royce mentioned that this black theme features “new levels of intensity”, which can only mean it looks way cooler than expected.

Both cars come with LED headlights, as well as various cabin tweaks, such as the darker air vents, carbon fiber composite trim, and a unique centerpiece clock.

Aside from all these aesthetic improvements, Rolls-Royce went ahead and upgraded the Ghost’s bi-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine.  It now develops 603 hp (450 kW) and 620 lb-ft (840 Nm) of torque and furthermore, the eight-speed automatic gearbox of the Ghost now has a sportier, for that extra top speed.

The Wraith, on the other hand, has been equipped with an upgraded air suspension, optimized drive shafts, and the same optimized gearbox as the Ghost. Its V12 engine has also been retouched, and now outputs 642 lb-ft (869 Nm) of torque.

The company added a more powerful braking system, featuring one-inch larger discs at the front axle, on both of the models. Looking good!
