Beauty on waves: The Luxury Onda 63′ by Baia Yachts
Their history stretches as far as 40 years back, as the Neapolitan firm is one of the most sought after brands in the world. They’re dealing with contemporary machinery, while the Onda 63’ is a superb addition to their fleet of “Coupé” models.
With looks that remind us of other Baia yachts, like the One Hundred and the 70 Italia, this particular yacht, the Onda 63′, is better in terms of comfort and technology. Guests can be accommodated into the modular main deck, a design that permits the living area’s space to be efficiently distributed.
There’s also a gorgeous sunbridge which provides two cozy sunpads above the aft extended hard top area. This can become a dining table for 8 people, while the fore sunpad can be reached via a walk side walkway. In addition, the guests can benefit of a third sunpad, right on the hard top.
Both the exterior and the interior’s spaces are extremely well distributed, able to be divided by a disappearing back door. Both areas wreak with technology, while the interiors are equipped with air conditioning, a top opening that allows more in to get inside and an additional side window.
The lower deck is simply stunning – it can provide two different accommodation layouts, being able to host a total of 12 people inside 3 cabins or 2 rooms with an L-shaped small sofa that replaces the third cabin. The guest cabin by the middle of the vessel can be replaced by a small dining area, one of the features that prove the modularity of the yacht’s design.
The owner’s cabin, one of the largest spots on the yacht, is found fore. It is simply flooded with light and provides a high level of coziness, plus a bathroom with separate shower. Starboard, curious eyes can intercept the Italian-like separate galley with its own door. Around the same area the crew’s quarters can be also seen, in the form of two bunk berths.
The yacht runs on twin MAN 1400 engines, or, if the owner asks, 1622 HP Cat or MAN 1650. It’s also pretty much known that Baia prefers Arneson surface drives. We love this one!
