Bambu Indah is not your average luxury resort. Located in Ubud, on the beautiful Indonesian island of Bali, this eco-luxury boutique hotel consists of eleven antique Javanese bridal homes, restored, furnished and decorated according to the highest standards of elegance and sophistication.

Originally intended to be a private retreat, the resort is now welcoming travelers from all over the world who want to experience Bali in an intimate, comfortable, yet luxurious setting. All rooms offer air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, and refrigerators with mini bar. There aren’t, however, any TVs or radios, though you might enjoy a welcome break from those things and just listen to the soothing sounds of nature.

Guests are welcome to swim in the natural swimming pool (where they might encounter a small fish or two), or relax and unwind with a traditional Balinese massage at the on-site spa. And because the experience wouldn’t be complete without dining on some fine local cuisine, Bambu Indah prepares traditional recipes with fresh produce grown in the resort’s organic garden or purchased locally. In short, Bambu Indah is the nature loving traveler’s dream!
