Dutch shipyard Heesen Yacht has long been greeting our eyes with luxurious vessels destined for sea-cruising in style. They’ve launched their 10th yacht during June 2011, the staggering Aurelia – a semi-displacement charter yacht that measures 37m.

The boat was projected by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects while the interior was designed by Bannenberg & Rowell. Dobroserdov Design painted the yacht with a paint-scheme unique in the world of yachting, inspired from the Gulf Racing colors, with number 10 on its quarters.

The artist painted the 14-ft Castoldi tender with the same scheme, honoring its owner’s passion for racing cars and sports. The yacht can accommodate a maximum number of 8 people, throughout its 4 large, comfortable cabins. The main deck hosts among its front side the master suite, while the lower deck hosts 3 double guest cabins. Each of these cabins is named after famous racing drivers, like Bertone, Pininfarina and Zagato. And feature en-suite bathrooms.

The outside part of the yacht features a partially sheltered aft cockpit, large sun-deck and lounge, with comfortable seating and convivial bar. The wheel house incorporates large mattresses within its front side, aimed for sun-bathing, lounging or other relaxing activities.

The vessel is powered by 2 MTU 16V 4000 M90 diesel engines that propel it with a maximum speed of 30 knots. Furthermore, the yacht can go for 1,900 nautical miles with a medium speed of 12 knots.
