After three years of painstaking work, careful engineering and designing, Audio Power Labs, a company from Ohio, have presented the 50TNT Monoblock Amplifier. Some described it as “the ultimate marriage of astounding audio transparency and sophisticated physical design”. We don’t need that fuss and puss to describe it – we’ll just say it’s superb.

In fact, this piece is the single 572B push-pull amplifier in the world today. It uses directly heated triode output tubes with zero negative feedback, alongside transformer coupling and pure Class A operation. The purpose of all these parts is to provide minimum distortion and sounds of the highest quality.

Unusually, there is a good looking aspect to this piece as well. We can superbly view the warm glow of the vacuum tubes through the transparent glass casing, as well as a huge load of filaments and electrodes. They make this device look like Art-Deco stuff.

You can get yourself a pair of the Audio Labs 50TNT Monoblock Amplifiers at the whopping price of $47,500.
