Aston Martin Ships First New Lagonda to Oman

A little over a month ago, we’ve told you about Aston Martin aims to revive the Lagonda marque, however nothing solid had been released yet. One of the few things known was the fact that the new model would be created for the high-end Middle Eastern market. Now, finally, the first images of the new Lagonda have surfaced as one of these cars is being shipped for testing to the Sultanate of Oman.

Once again, there’s not much information accompanying these images. At a glance, it seems that the vehicle is a stylish sedan somewhat reminiscent of the original Aston Martin Zagato sedan which took the world by storm in the 1970s, with hints of the Zagato Centennial concepts unveiled last year.

Another lingering question was whether the Lagonda would return as a nameplate, or a separate brand, a question which should be answered soon enough, as testing and hopefully commercial deliveries go ahead.
