The Tales of the Cocktail festival recently concluded in New Orleans and with this occasion a series of awards has been bestowed upon the world leaders in the creation and serving of the best drinks. The coveted ‘World’s Best Bar’ title was awarded to The Artesian, a high-end establishment located in London.

Part of the London boutique hotel The Langham, The Artesian offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, as well as some of the most remarkable experimental cocktails you’ll ever find. In addition to the classics, like the Bloody Mary of the Mojito, there’s also a selection of innovative cocktails gathered together under the theme of ‘Unfolding and Exploring’. This menu features such offerings as ‘Will of the Woods’, which is made with Glenlivet, Vermouth, larch, mushrooms, citrus and honey, served in a wooden drinking bowl – but there are also many more exquisite cocktails containing the finest ingredients and presented in unique ways.

With this year’s award, The Artesian has actually defended its title as the world’s best bar, which it also won in 2013.
