Aquarium de Paris Will Allow You To Sleep With Sharks

I have to admit I was very tempted to use the phrase ‘sleep with the fishes’, which would have been a hair-rising choice,  yet a proper one. I mean, how many people do you know that have shared the waters with sharks and survived to tell the tale?

The Aquarium de Paris will allow guests to do so, in what might be considered one of the coolest places on Earth. A fish tank bedroom immersed in three million liters of water, with floor to ceiling glass windows and breathtaking 360° views could be your designated place of sleep.

Outfitted with a fitting decor and reading materials, the underwater bedroom offers all the luxuries you might need. But did we mention the 35 sharks monitoring your every breath?

There’s supposedly a ‘romantic’ tank side dinner part of this special’s bedroom offer, although I’m inclined to say that only Bond Villains could ever consider the staring gaze of a shark romantic. There’s also a full aquarium tour on offer, hosted by both an underwater photographer and free-diver, in case you decide to sleep here.

But it’s only a matter of luck if you’ll be able to enjoy this first hand, as a contest will actually decide who spends the night with those ancient predators. I haven’t made up my mind if participating in this contest would be a good idea, or not, but I’m sure you will.
