Amazing “Bathroom Sweet” Made Entirely Out of Chocolate

When it comes to furniture of any kind, creating it out of chocolate is as outside the box as it gets. And that’s exactly what bathroom furniture retail site Bathrooms.com and the British chocolatiers over at Choccywoccydoodah did when they envisioned this amazing bathroom suite made entirely out of Belgian chocolate.

This unique setup, called the Maderno Bathroom Sweet, was inspired by the fact that many people in the UK were searching online for “bathrooms sweets” instead of “bathroom suites”, misspelling the two homophonous words. Bathrooms.com Chief Executive Ian Monk took this opportunity to create something truly extraordinary (while also perhaps taking advantage of all that internet buzz) – and that’s how Bathroomsweets.com was born.

The set comes with everything you’d expect to find your average bathroom, it’s just that the material used is a bit unusual. There’s an $83,000 chocolate bathtub, an $11,600 chocolate bidet, a $15,000 chocolate basin, and a $23,200 chocolate toilet, which amounts to about $133,000 and over 9 million calories.

Unfortunately, the Maderno Bathroom Sweet isn’t supposed to be actually used in any way. Its purpose is purely decorative, as the chocolate melts when in contact with anything hot – so a nice bath wouldn’t exactly be feasible. We suppose you could eat the chocolate, though we would argue that the pieces are too pretty to eat. It’s probably bets just to stick to the setup’s original purpose, which is a purely decorative one. There certainly won’t be many who can say they own an $83,000 chocolate bathtub.
