From the 10th to the 13th of November Ducati will be unveiling their whole range of bikes and related-projects for 2012, including the all-so-waited Ducati 1199 Panigale Superbike. All these will take part courtesy of the ECIMA 2011 Milan Show.

The new model of 1199 is here to honor every little aspect that inspired the Ducati brand, from flag to people. The 69th edition of the show will surely be the best up-to-date, given the fact that Italy celebrates 150 years since it starting being known as the red-white-green country.

Thus, Ducati have created a special bike to accompany this, called the “Tricolore”, and, you guesses, it’s painted in the same colors as the Italian national flag. It boasts a 195HP Superquadro 2-cylinder engine that has to be seen by all the mechanics-enthusiasts.

Being one of the fastest bikes you can see today, the 1199 Panigale is around 22 pounds lighter than its predecessor, the 1198, now weighing an astonishing 361 pounds. Safety is one of the principles of this specific model, the bikes being equipped with roll-on traction control and anti-lock braking system.

They have also added a world first-timer – electronically-adjustable suspension. Besides all these, to let you find your way around faster, they come equipped with General Positioning System. These series are also added a concept, a package of seven different must-have utilities, the Ducati Riding Mode.

Some of them are the Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES), up-to-date ABS system, race-like Engine Brake Control (EBC), Ride-by-Wire (RbW), Ducati Quick-Shift (DQS). The prices for the models are $27,995 for the Tricolore version, $22,995 for the Ducati S and $17,995 for the standard Panigale. They are a must-have in any motor biking enthusiast’s collection.
